Winter Solstice marks the shortest day and longest night of the year. It's time to honoring endings and diving into new beginnings. It's the time of the returning light. I received this song during a guided meditation journey at the beginning of this year and now, at the end of this cycle, I pass it on to you.

In German it says: "Ich trage die Sonne durch den Nebel. Wohin ich geh, da ist mein Herz." In English it means something like this: "I carry the sun through the fog, where I go, there is my heart."

It's like a mantra or affirmation, which you can repeat over and over again, share it with others, sing together in circle or take it as an inspiration for your journaling praxis. Whenever I felt lost this year, this song helped me to walk my path in the most authentic way, with love in my heart and trust in myself. May it be a good companion for you too.
